Theseus was the king of Athens. His father was King Aegeus and his
wife was Queen Ariadne. Theseus had slayed many horrible monsters
and people, including the Minotaur. Some other people and monsters
he defeated where the The Clubman, Pine-Bender, Eleusis, Procrustes,
and The Fire Breathing Bull. In this story Theseus travels to the island
of Crete to challenge the Minotaur. Here he meets Ariadne (who is not
yet his wife), and with the items she gave him slays the Minotaur. Later
he asks her to be his queen. Theseus was a great man beacuse he
was able to right many wrongs.
