Ariadne was the daughter of King Minos and Pasiphea. Pasiphea was the daughter of Helios, the Sun-God. Ariadne aided Theseus in his quest to free his people, and married him afterwards. Unfortunetly, she never made it back to Athens with Theseus. She was killed by Artemis by request of Dionysus on the island of Dia. |
